LIVING FOREST DUEL: Petals to the metal!
Winter and Summer compete to assert their influence over the forest!
Under the constant threat of fires caused by Onibi, each season needs to use strategies to be the first to achieve one of the four victory conditions and thus save the forest..
Â
The forest is once again in peril, but Summer and Winter are here to defend it with the valuable help of the guardian animals.
In Living Forest Duel, two players face off as the spirits of Summer and Winter, each striving to save the sacred forest and be recognized as its ultimate protector. Although their goals are similar, only one season will claim the honours, so plan your strategies carefully.
Â
The game is played in alternating turns. On each turn, choose one of the following options:
- Draw 1 guardian animal card from the shared draw pile and add it to the shared help line
- Use 1 action token on 1 guardian animal card in the shared help line
Â
The 4 Victory Conditions
Each player must achieve one of the four victory conditions first to win the game:
- Create a harmonious forest: Plant a 3×3 rectangle of Guardian Tree cards in your Forest.
- Dominate the Recruitment Line: Have only cards of your season on the recruitment line.
- Extinguish the Destructive Flames: Collect 7 Fire tokens to protect the forest from Onibi's devastation.
- Repel Onibi: Move the Onibi creature to your opponent's side once the Onibi card is in their possession.
Â
The tension during every turn is palpable, and managing the tracks is crucial: you can’t afford to neglect any of them, or your opponent will quickly overtake you. The mechanic of the shared draw deck is brilliant and adds an extra layer of strategy to the game.

GUILD OF MERCHANT EXPLORERS: Sail for sales!
Explore strange lands, establish trade routes, and search for treasure.
Â
In The Guild of Merchant Explorers, each player starts with one city on their personal map board.
Shuffle the deck of terrain cards, then reveal most of these cards one by one. Based on the terrain revealed, each player places cubes on their board that are connected to their starting city or other cubes. You want to complete areas on your board, cross the seas to new lands, and establish new cities on the board. You can explore capsized ships for treasure- which gives you special placement capabilities- and create linked connections between locations to score bonus points. Common objectives can be completed by all players, with those who complete it first scoring more points.
Â
At the end of a round, all cubes are removed from each board, leaving only the cities behind, so if you do not establish new cities, you will be stuck in the same places.

KING OF TOKYO: DUEL - Just to hit face to face.
As night falls over Tokyo, two massive figures rise from the smoke of destroyed skyscrapers. On the left corner, a 5 story-building sized robot kitten. On my right, an humonguous monkey grabbing a skyscrapper: Who is gonna be the king of the city?
There can only be one- whether by crushing their rival in battle or striking fear into the hearts of the masses…
Â
King of Tokyo: Duel is a standalone adaptation of the classic game King of Tokyo (available here), now fully reimagined for intense one-on-one battles!
In this edition, iconic monsters face off in an epic duel that blends strategy, boldness, and luck. Every dice roll and every card played could lead you closer to victory- or to your downfall. It is an all-new experience for players who love strategic combat while keeping the excitement, fast pace, and signature fun of King of Tokyo!
Each player controls a fearsome monster with a unique ability, fighting to claim dominance over Tokyo. The game unfolds on a two-track board representing Fame and Destruction.
Players roll dice to perform actions such as attacking their opponent, healing, gaining energy, or purchasing powerful cards. These cards grant strategic advantages, allowing players to customize their monster and catch their rival off guard.
Â
Players have up to three dice rolls per turn, rerolling as many dice as they like to optimize their results. The dice feature six different symbols: Attack, Heal, Energy, Fame, Destruction and ! (Monster power). After rolling, players resolve their actions based on their final results- inflicting damage, healing, accumulating energy to buy power cards, or advancing along the Glory and Destruction tracks. The first player to reach the Victory space on either track or to reduce their opponent’s health to zero wins the game.
Â
With its fast-paced mechanics, diverse power cards, and dynamic dice system, every match is unique and full of unexpected twists. Whether you are out to prove your supremacy or just looking for thrilling fun, King of Tokyo: Duel delivers an intense and entertaining experience!
Â

A GEST OF ROBIN HOOD: There is a lot behind it!
The latest installment in the Irregular Conflicts Series, A Gest of Robin Hood, has now landed on BGA, offering players a fresh take on the legendary outlaw. Designed by Fred Serval, this streamlined, folklore-driven entry builds on the mechanisms of the COIN Series while reimagining Robin Hood’s tale through the lens of insurgency and state power.
Â
Unlike traditional Robin Hood adaptations, A Gest of Robin Hood presents a layered interpretation of the character- bandit, liberator, and trickster- all within a historical and strategic framework. Players can embrace Robin as a guerrilla leader fighting against the Sheriff of Nottingham, whose rule is defined by force, taxation, and counterinsurgency tactics reminiscent of modern state conflicts. The game explores deeper themes of power, rebellion, and the thin line between outlaws and enforcers.
Â
This release trims down complex mechanics, reducing playtime to around 60 minutes while maintaining a tactical depth. The system introduces a two-player initiative mechanic, event-driven narratives, and asymmetric play-styles, ensuring dynamic and evolving gameplay.
While some elements of the system may feel rigid, the game excels in capturing the tension between folklore and historical realism.
Â
For strategy enthusiasts and history buffs alike, A Gest of Robin Hood offers a compelling dive into the legend through the lens of political conflict and insurgency, making it one of the most approachable COIN experiences yet. The Board Game Arena version is now available, inviting players to step into the boots of the Merry Men or uphold the Sheriff’s rule in the ever-contentious forests of Nottingham.

KADO - What kind of present will you get?
It is the thought that counts... or not!
The players give, open, and store their gifts. Over the course of the game, each player will work toward building a grid of 12 KADO cards organized into 3 lines and 4 columns. Players score points according to the value, gift type, and ribbon color of each card. The player with the highest score wins the game.
Â
A game consists of 12 rounds.
At the beginning of each round, each player receives a new KADO card, which they can use to build their grid. They can challenge the giver (or not) by guessing his/her card and trying to get a better one. Then they place their final card on their grid, placing it in the best way to optimize their points.
Â
In more detail:
Cards have three characteristics: a value from 1-5, a ribbon in one of five colors, and one of five objects. Players take turns being the giver, and when you are the giver, you draw a card, look at it in secret, then give it to someone face down; this player can look at their card.
Once you have given everyone (including yourself) a card, the player to your left can try to swap gifts with you. If they want to, they name a color and object; if either of them match the gift you gave yourself that turn, you must swap cards, then everyone adds their card to their display. If they fail to name either your gift's color or object, the next player can try. (If someone guesses both color and object, they receive a face-down card as a 2-point bonus at game end.)
After twelve rounds, everyone will have twelve cards in a grid that is three rows tall and four columns wide. If all the ribbons in a column are the same color, you score points equal to the highest value in that column. For each row, choose an object in that row, then sum all of the values on cards that show that object.

MYTHICALS - The Board Game: Elementary, my dear!
Mythicals is a tactical, risk-taking card-collecting game for two players. In this universe, each celestial creature holds the mastery of an element: water, air, earth, or fire. Study these creatures before the sun rises and learn all their secrets because the player with the greatest mastery of the elements at the end of the game wins!
On your turn, collect cards representing the same elements by drawing three cards from the pile (and placing the remaining ones into the market) or by picking them from the market. If you can, discard a collection corresponding to a favor token (same elements + flush, different elements, same value...) and take the token.
Â
This all-new 2 player only game from Repos Production (7 Wonders, Just One, etc) is not available in stores yet BUT you can already learn it through the tutorial, and play it on Board Game Arena!
